Email cost calculator

Enter how many emails you send per month to estimate the bill on each provider. The model is cost = plan base + per-1,000 rate × (volume − included). As of June 2026, Amazon SES is the cheapest at $0.10 per 1,000 (pay-as-you-go); Resend and SendGrid are about $0.40 per 1,000, Mailgun ~$0.70 and Postmark $1.50. The winner flips at low volume because the others bundle a monthly base fee. Estimate only — verify on the vendor pricing page.

How the estimate works

For each provider: monthly cost = base fee + per-1,000 rate × max(0, volume − included). Amazon SES has no base fee or included allowance, so it is simply $0.10 × (volume ÷ 1,000). See the full email API comparison or individual profiles for SES, SendGrid, Resend, Mailgun and Postmark.
